peanut butter tortilla as I sat watching mighty ships travel the
Columbia. Last night was the warmest night of the whole trip and I
slept great. I took my time getting out of camp this morning and was
on the road by 11:07. I raced a boat up the Columbia as it gave me
something to do and being so competitive warmed me up quickly.
I rode for three and a half hours today covering 48 miles as there
isn't another campsite for 60 miles and I wasn't feeling a century
worth of riding in the hilly terrain of WA. Tomorrow I will be
staying at another hostel called Grays Harbor Hostel in a town called
Elma. What is sad is the hostel is only $5 more the camping after tax.
I am currently at Lewis and Clark State Park north of Toledo, WA. I
looked for Mt. St. Helens today being that I was at one time only 35
miles from it, but didn't find it.
Time to make some pasta.
